Budgets set spending limits over a period and track actual spend against them, with alerts when limits are approached or exceeded.
What a budget holds
- Budget Name, Budget Type (e.g. General Budget or Individual Category) and Budget Period.
- Budgeted vs Actual Spent in the Budget Breakdown.
- Budget Alerts and a Budget Exceeded flag.
