Creating a contract

Draft and store a new contract.

Create a contract

  1. Open Contracts and create one (or use Quick Create → New Contract).
  2. Fill Contract Details: Contract Title, Contract Type and Contract Number.
  3. Add the Contract Parties.
  4. Set Financial Terms: Contract Value and Payment Terms.
  5. Set dates: Effective Date, Start Date and End Date.
  6. Save as draft; route for approval when ready (status moves to Pending Approval, then Active).
A contract is required to proceed (“Contract is required”) — complete the core details before saving.
