Creating an invoice
Generate a customer invoice with items and taxes.
Create it
- From Sales Invoices (or Quick Create → New Invoice) start a new invoice.
- Set the Bill To customer; the Invoice Number auto-fills from your settings (“Next invoice will be…”).
- Set the Invoice Date and Due Date; add an Invoice Reference Number if needed.
- Add line items with quantity, rate and tax — the Taxable Amount and Total Amount compute in the Billing Summary.
- Set Payment Terms, optionally Adjust Credit Amount, then save.
Sending & payment
You can attach the invoice PDF and send it to the customer’s email. As money comes in, the Received Amount rises and Pending Amount falls (record payments via Payment In).
Configure your invoice prefix/sequence in Invoice Number Settings so numbers are consistent.
