Custom fields

Add your own fields to CRM records.

Custom Fields let you capture data specific to your business on records like leads, contacts, companies and deals.

Add a custom field

  1. Open Custom Fields and choose Add Custom Field.
  2. Set the Field Label and Field Name.
  3. Pick the Field Type — for example text, Date or Dropdown (add options for dropdowns).
  4. Choose which module it applies to and whether it’s required.
  5. Save — the field now appears on that record type.
Custom fields can be included on imports/exports — pick “Include custom fields” where offered.
