Importing leads (bulk import)

Bulk import lets you load many leads at once from a spreadsheet. The importer walks you through uploading the file, mapping its columns to lead fields, and reviewing the results.

Steps

1. On the Leads page open the bulk import/export tool and choose to Import.
2. Upload File — drag a file onto “Click or drag file to this area to upload”, or browse. CSV and Excel files are supported.
3. Map Fields — match each spreadsheet column to a lead field. Required fields must be mapped or you’ll see a Mapping Error / Required Field warning.
4. Choose Import Options: Update existing leads, Skip empty rows, Skip rows with errors, and Apply lead scoring on import.
5. Run the import and review Import Results.

Exporting leads

The same tool exports leads. Pick Fields to Export and File Options (CSV or Excel), with options to Include custom fields, Include notes, Include score data and Format dates.
