Roles, permissions & hierarchy basics
How access is controlled across your organization.
Access in TheEazy CXM is role-based. A role is a named set of permissions; every user is assigned one, which decides the modules and actions available to them.
The building blocks
- Roles — define what a user can see and do (create, view, edit, delete per module).
- Branches — users belong to one or more branches; data can be scoped per branch.
- Departments & Designations — organize people and can drive reporting and assignment.
- Hierarchy — the reporting structure between roles.
Where to manage it
Admins manage all of this in Settings — see the Settings & Administration section for creating roles, editing permissions, and building the org hierarchy.
Assign the least-privileged role that still lets someone do their job; you can always grant more later.
