Registering your phone number
Register your WhatsApp number with the Cloud API.
Before you can send, your number must be registered with the WhatsApp Cloud API. The Settings page walks you through this in a short modal.
Steps
- In WhatsApp Settings, open the phone-registration flow.
- Confirm the number and request the verification step.
- Enter the verification details to complete register.
- Once registered, the number is ready to send messages and templates.
Registration is required once per number; you only repeat it if you connect a new number.
