Send WhatsApp messages and template messages.
Send a message
- Open Send Message.
- Choose the recipient.
- For an open conversation, type a free-form message; to start a new conversation outside the 24-hour window, choose an approved template.
- Fill any template variables, then send.
WhatsApp requires an approved template to initiate conversations or message outside the 24-hour customer-service window.
